I have a Samsung ML-1740 that prints with ink streaks all over the page. I've tried to clean inside the printer, though options for doing so are limited. I'm not sure whether or not it's the cartridge or the printer causing the problem, but the problem occurred not too long after I put a new cartridge into the printer. I'd hate to spend the money to replace the expensive toner to find out if was the cartridge when I could buy a new printer for the same cost (or less). Any advice?

why not get a warranty replacement???????????????
