I go to the TCP/IP settings, select "Set IP Address", change the last didget from 8 to 9 and hit select button. It says "SAVED" but instead of going back to the previous menu item it exits the menu and displays "READY." Then when I go back to check the IP address it's the same as it was before trying to change it (8). I've never had a problem like this before and would really appreciate some help! Thanks! :)

T620 by beezerkats (8/27/08 2:45 PM) reply | + / - | not knowing your network, take it off the network first and try to change it, see if it saves. if not the nic is integrated on the logic board. You can change the logic or add an expansion nic which will show up on the menu as "Network 2"

The NIC is not integrated into the system board so I tried replacing it yesterday but that did nothing. I have a new system board on order set to arrive on Monday.
